After the new sponsor-less brand of the i360 was published, the council accidentally revealed some numbers originally redacted in the original i360 business plan. The plans were extremely off: for example on the second year of operations 801,000 visitors were expected, but only 344,000 visited. Councillor Dawn Barnett said that this might be the beginning of the end for the i360.

Parkour! on the Brighton Marina harbour breakwater, scary and mesmerising to watch (via u/TheVinnon). Fun fact: when the breakwater opened in 1979 it won the Concrete Society award for “excellence in the use of concrete”. There is even a plaque! And we found where it is!

My Policeman was released in theatres on 21st October (albeit not in Brighton), and it will be on Prime Video from 4th November. It is set in 1950s Brighton and it was filmed in various locations in Brighton, Hove and Worthing.
The council has closed several public toilets for the winter season around the city and parks, to save money and because of staff shortage. Various petitions are asking to keep them opened.
